Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot-Varsano was born on 30 April 1985 in Rosh HaAyin, Israel. She served two years in the Israel Defense Forces after high school, then studied law and international relations at IDC Herzliya while beginning to model. She was crowned Miss Israel in 2004 and represented the country at Miss Universe. Her first widely seen film role was as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious (2009) and later films in that series, including Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6.

In 2016 she was cast as Diana Prince in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and then starred in Wonder Woman (2017) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). Wonder Woman was one of the first superhero films with a woman in the lead to earn more than 800 million dollars worldwide. She has also appeared in Justice League, Red Notice, and Death on the Nile. She produces through her company, Pilot Wave. She lives with her family and continues to work in both superhero and other studio films. This site’s Chinese New Year for 1985 is 20 February, so 30 April is Ox/Taurus.
