The Dragon is the fifth Sign of the Chinese Zodiac, and is a Yang Sign associated with the Wood Element. Recent Dragon years have been 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988 and 2000. Those who possess the characteristics of this Sign are gifted with an extraordinarily intense personality and are capable of great success, or spectacular failure. They generally succeed, however -- their secret being a great and abiding self-confidence.
The innate sincerity and openness of the Dragon can do a great deal to disarm the most explosive of situations. The down side includes a tendency to get bored easily and walk away from projects without finishing what they have started. They also tend to be a bit over-zealous, and can be angered easily at the slightest of obstacles.
